Auger-Aliassime slips out of ATP top 10 after six-place fall to No. 13

Félix Auger-Aliassime has dropped six places to No. 13 in the latest ATP men’s tennis rankings, after losing 640 ranking points in Monday’s update. The 26-year-old Montreal native fell outside the top 10 for the first time in over a year.

Auger-Aliassime, who holds a 37-18 record this season, won his lone title of 2026 in Montpellier, France, in February. He captured three titles last year. He also reached the quarterfinals of the French Open in June, when he climbed to a career-high No. 4 in the world.

Denis Shapovalov of Richmond Hill, Ont., rose one spot to No. 51. Liam Draxl of Newmarket, Ont., climbed 26 places to No. 168, while Montreal’s Gabriel Diallo dropped 20 spots to No. 169.

All four Canadians will join Duncan Chan of Markham, Ont., on Canada’s roster for the Davis Cup Final 8 in Bologna, Italy, from Nov. 24-29.

At the top of the rankings, Germany’s Alexander Zverev moved into the No. 1 position, overtaking Italy’s Jannik Sinner. Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz remained third.
